Last updated: 29 October 2026
Please read these terms carefully before using this website. By accessing or using benedictholding.com (the “Site”), you agree to be bound by these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.
1. About us
The Site is operated by Benedict Holding (“Benedict Holding”, “we”, “us” or “our”), an international legal recruitment consultancy based in the United Kingdom, placing solicitors and lawyers with law firms and in-house legal teams worldwide, including in the UK and Dubai.
Benedict Holding is Benedict Holding Group Limited, a company registered in England and Wales under company number 16564916, with its registered office at William Bayliss Drive, Wolverhampton, England, WV2 2JG.
2. Use of the site
We make the Site available free of charge. We do not guarantee that the Site, or any content on it, will always be available or uninterrupted, and we may suspend, withdraw or restrict all or part of the Site for business or operational reasons.
The content on the Site is provided for general information only. It is not legal, financial or career advice on which you should rely. Although we make reasonable efforts to keep the Site up to date, we make no representation or warranty that its content is accurate, complete or current.
You are responsible for making all arrangements necessary to access the Site and for ensuring that anyone accessing it through your internet connection is aware of and complies with these terms.
3. Candidate registration, Quick Apply and CV submission
3.1 Registering and applying
You may register an account, apply for a role, use our Quick Apply service or submit your CV through the Site. Where you create an account, you must keep your login details confidential and you are responsible for activity carried out under your account. Please tell us promptly if you believe your account has been compromised.
3.2 Accuracy of information
You confirm that all information you provide to us, including your CV, qualifications, admission or practising status, experience, PQE and right to work, is true, accurate, complete and not misleading, and that you will tell us promptly of any changes. We may verify information you provide and may decline to represent any candidate at our discretion.
3.3 Sharing your CV
We will only send your CV or identifying details to a prospective employer or client with your agreement, which we will seek in relation to each specific opportunity. You may withdraw your agreement or ask us to stop representing you at any time by contacting us.
3.4 No guarantee
Submitting an application or CV does not guarantee that you will be put forward for a role, invited to interview or offered employment. Recruitment decisions are made by the relevant employer.
4. Job listings
Job listings on the Site are provided in good faith based on information supplied by our clients. We do not guarantee that any listing is accurate, complete or still available. Roles, salaries, locations, requirements and other details may change or be withdrawn at any time without notice. A listing does not constitute an offer of employment, and we do not guarantee any placement.
5. Employers and clients
If you are a law firm, organisation or other employer using our recruitment services, those services and any fees are governed by our separate Terms of Business, which will be provided to you and must be agreed before we introduce candidates. In the event of any conflict between these website terms and our Terms of Business, the Terms of Business will prevail in relation to recruitment services.
Employers posting vacancies through the Site confirm that the vacancy is genuine, lawful and accurately described, and that they will comply with all applicable employment, equality and data protection laws.
6. Intellectual property
We are the owner or licensee of all intellectual property rights in the Site and its content, including text, design, graphics, logos and the Benedict Holding name. These works are protected by copyright and other laws. You may view, print or download extracts of pages for your own personal, non-commercial use, but you must not modify, reproduce, distribute or commercially exploit any content without our prior written permission.
By submitting content to the Site, such as a CV or job description, you confirm that you have the right to do so and grant us a non-exclusive licence to use that content for the purpose of providing our services.
7. Acceptable use
You must not:
- use the Site in any way that breaches any applicable law or regulation, or for any fraudulent or harmful purpose;
- scrape, harvest, data-mine or otherwise extract content, job listings or user data from the Site, whether manually or by automated means;
- create false, duplicate or misleading accounts, impersonate any person or misrepresent your qualifications or affiliation;
- use bots, scripts or other automated tools to register, apply, submit content or access the Site;
- submit spam, unsolicited advertising or vacancies that are not genuine;
- introduce viruses, malware or other harmful material, or attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Site, its server or any connected database;
- interfere with or disrupt the operation or security of the Site.
We may suspend or remove any account, content or listing, and report matters to the relevant authorities, if we reasonably believe these terms have been breached.
8. Links to third-party sites
The Site may contain links to websites and resources provided by third parties, including law firms, job boards and social media platforms. These links are provided for information only. We have no control over those websites and accept no responsibility for their content, availability or privacy practices.
9. Limitation of liability
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for any other liability that cannot be excluded or limited under the law of England and Wales.
Subject to that, we exclude all implied conditions, warranties and representations that may apply to the Site or its content, and we will not be liable to any user for any loss or damage, whether in contract, tort (including negligence), breach of statutory duty or otherwise, arising under or in connection with use of, or inability to use, the Site, or reliance on any content displayed on it.
In particular, we will not be liable for loss of profits, sales, business or revenue, loss of opportunity or employment, business interruption, loss of anticipated savings, loss of goodwill or reputation, or any indirect or consequential loss.
We are not responsible for the conduct of any candidate, employer or other user, or for any employment decision or contract made between them.
10. Privacy
We process personal data, including CVs and application details, in accordance with the UK General Data Protection Regulation and the Data Protection Act 2018. Please read our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, share and protect your personal data and the rights you have.
11. Complaints
If you are unhappy with any aspect of our Site or services, please let us know. Details of how we handle complaints are set out in our Complaints Policy.
12. Changes to these terms
We may revise these terms at any time by updating this page. Please check it from time to time, as the version in force when you use the Site applies. Continued use of the Site after changes are posted means you accept the updated terms.
13. Governing law
These terms, and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with them or their subject matter (including non-contractual disputes or claims), are governed by the law of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales will have exclusive jurisdiction, save that if you are a consumer resident elsewhere in the United Kingdom you may also bring proceedings in your local courts.
