Non-Contentious Construction Solicitor
Location: London
PQE: NQ–2 years
Contract: Permanent
Working Pattern: Hybrid

The Opportunity
We are working with a highly regarded London Construction practice looking to recruit a junior solicitor into its growing non-contentious team.

This opportunity would suit an NQ–2 PQE lawyer looking to build their career advising on major real estate developments, construction projects and infrastructure matters.

The Work
You will advise on:

JCT contracts
NEC contracts
Bespoke building contracts
Pre-Construction Services Agreements
Professional appointments
Collateral warranties
Third-party rights
Development agreements
Framework agreements
Letters of intent
Bonds and guarantees
Security documentation
Building Safety Act matters
Construction aspects of acquisitions, disposals and financings
Projects
The team advises across:

Major commercial developments
Residential developments
Mixed-use schemes
Hotels
Offices
Logistics
Infrastructure
Energy projects
Investment portfolios
What We’re Looking For
Candidates will ideally have:

NQ–2 years PQE
A strong Construction seat or post-qualification Construction experience
A clear preference for non-contentious work
Experience drafting or reviewing construction documents
Exposure to JCT and/or NEC contracts
Strong drafting ability
Excellent attention to detail
Good academics
Experience from a recognised commercial law firm
Solicitors approaching qualification with substantial Construction experience are also encouraged to apply.
